The history of this small wine producer began when two young, recently married wine lovers decided to make good use of the family lands. In 1997, shortly after the officially protected Denomination of Origin of La Palma was introduced, they risked everything and set out to restore the abandoned vineyards of their little finca in Tijarafe. Since then, they have maintained their wine cellar, which can be visited by appointment, in the caves of the Montaña de Bellido area. Apart from the classical varieties, they are also producing sparkling wines, ecological wines and even wines that have been aged under water in the ocean. All of them are being marketed under the name El Tendal.
